Colloidal silver has been making the headlines as a substance with many health benefits for mankind. However, an individual by the name of Mark Metcalf has also made the headlines throwing some stark criticisms on propagators of the use of isolated colloidal silver against his own products.

The criticisms from Mark Metcalf came after a company claimed that colloidal silver made using salt is completely safe. The company argued that silver chloride is inert which means it’s harmless. Statistics also shows that silver chloride was tested to be thirty times less toxic when compared to silver nitrate.

Mark Metcalf argued that colloidal silver developed using salt was inferior and unstable. He said that this was scientifically proven. He stated that the product does not work as well as a naturally isolated silver product but it also placed the users at a great risk of developing argyria.

Rebuttals against Mark Metcalf

The company against which Mark Metcalf made the accusations has come back with strong rebuttals in order to refute his claims.  The individual has thrown out many accusations including stating that the company website refers to colloidal silver in ambiguous and primitive terms such as “properly hydrated”. Whereas in reality the website was referring to bentonite clay which should be properly hydrated with the silver in order for it to be effective.

He also went ahead to say the website owner does not manufacture or produce their own colloidal silver products. Rather they link to other colloidal silver and colloidal silver generator manufacturers in order to get some sort of a compensation for the products being sold.

In truth the website does not receive any compensation whatsoever from the products that are sold through the website. The advertisements on the website have been placed using Google Adsense which the website owners do not have control over.

Mark further went on to accuse the website of misquoting from his book wherein which he reports that silver chloride is safe. According to Mark the website removed the word diluted from silver nitrate in order to make Mark look bad. Whereas in reality the website mentions Mark but never quotes from his book.

The point that the website was trying to make was that Mark has twisted the study by EPA in order to use it for selling his product against an isolated silver product.

The website went further on to document two cases of argyria that resulted from following up on Mark’s advice. Further on the website has also conducted a comparative analysis of silver chloride and home brew silver solutions.

The website has gone ahead and put up a flash video in order to illustrate the runaway electrolysis reaction. The entire collection of evidence can let the visitors decide the true worth of Mark Metcalf’s silver products.

In the most bizarre of accusations Mark Metcalf goes on to say that along with attacking him personally the website seems to be a government sting operation!
